The Yamaha DTX10K-X Black Forest is a high-end electric drum set with real birch shells, TCS heads and DTX Pro X module. The DTX 10 series reproduces faithful drum sounds with room ambience recorded in world famous studios. Three Kit Modifier controls, namely AMBIENCE, COMP and EFFECT Kit Modifier controls allow for realistic and customization according to your own preferences. There are also eight direct outputs for PA and monitors. 10 trigger inputs allow you to connect up to 14 pads (with Y-cable). In addition to the existing 733 sounds, up to 1000 of your own samples can be used via a USB stick, and there is also an extensive real-time recording function. Audio tracks can be streamed directly to the module via Bluetooth Audio. A professional effects processor with compressors, 3-band EQ and transient adjustment is available for each of the 14 channels. Yamaha 's original TCS heads provide a natural feel and perfect rebound. Professional Yamaha system hardware in the form of the RS10-HXR Hex Rack ensures perfect handling and convenient adjustment options.

The Yamaha DTX10K-X features excellent birch shells built in the Yamaha factories. The hand-lacquered Drum shells are no different in quality or feel from conventional Acoustic drums. Yamaha uses foamed silicone for snare and tom pads, which contains countless small air bubbles due to special processing. With a perfect Mix of strength and rebound, which withstands even hard hits, the TCS technology offers a realistic and natural feel.

High-end Drum module: The DTX-PRO X Module at a glance
The included Yamaha DTX Pro X module convinces with professional possibilities and offers perfect tuning to the needs of drummers as well as maximum performance. The module contains 733 sounds in 70 kits, plus the option of freely assigning 200 user kits. Furthermore, you can load your own Wav samples into the module, there are 50 minutes (25 minutes stereo) available, and the internal memory can easily be expanded with a USB stick. Up to 14 different pads (Y-cables) can be connected to the ten separate trigger inputs if required. A recording function and a comprehensive metronome are integrated in the DTX Pro X drum module. The innovative Kit Modifier function includes three knobs that allow you to adjust room and effects individually for each channel. Complementing the Aux-In is a Master Output (L/MONO+R), eight direct outputs, USB to Host/Device, Midi In/Out and a headphone jack. Via Bluetooth you can stream from your smartphone oder a computer directly to the module. The full Dot LCD Display ensures intuitive operation.
