The Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD is a USB audio and MIDI interface with 4 inputs and outputs, including 4 mic/line inputs, all of which feature the excellent MIDAS mic preamps, to which +48 V phantom power can be switched on. It is ideal as an audio interface for home recording, for use on the move to quickly record a new idea, or for studio and live recordings. If required, a MIDI device can even be connected to make your work easier, for example by using a DAW controller. In terms of flexibility, there are no limits with this device, and all this comes with outstanding sound quality at a resolution of 24-bit/192 kHz and zero-latency monitoring.
This just blew my mind! Great sound quality, very nice preamps, inserts on all channels, monitoring on all channels. All of this and more for 105 euros!!! Amazing interface for beginners to semi-pros.
I recently added this interface to my studio setup and I cannot believe the results that it has produced. It was so easy to setup and integrate with my Mixcraft 8 Pro DAW, I am amazed at the quality of the recordings that I have produced. I had considered other high end and very expensive options but after reading reviews on this Behringer unit I opted to give it a try and I am so pleased I did so as I have saved ££££'s.
