The LD-Systems U508 IEM is an in-ear monitoring system for the frequency range 823 - 832 MHz, 863 - 865 MHz.

With the perfect monitor sound right in your ear, you can move freely on stage. The wireless U500® in-ear monitoring systems offer a choice of 96 transmission channels with 2, 10 or 30 mW selectable RF transmission power and over 100 m range. Transmitter and receiver are quickly and conveniently synchronised via infrared, while high-contrast OLED displays provide an optimum overview of functions. Individual user names can also be entered and 10 custom presets can be saved. U500® in-ear systems are characterised by a signal-to-noise ratio of over 95 dB and a distortion factor of less than 0.3 %.

For a clean, precise sound, U500® IEM transmitters have a 3-band EQ with parametric mids, a switchable limiter and a squelch. They can be operated at stereo or mono, and a practical headphone output allows direct monitoring of the input signals.

The low power consumption of the U500® bodypack receiver ensures a long runtime of up to 10 hours with two AA batteries. A practical control allows individual adjustment of the monitoring volume during the performance. The squelch threshold can be set to one of three levels to ensure interference-free sound at all times.
