The iConnectivity PlayAUDIO2U is an audio interface for professional touring rigs that is uncompromisingly designed for live operation. Designed for situations where a crash is not an option, it combines redundant computer connectivity with extremely stable audio and MIDI infrastructure. Two simultaneously connected computers can be switched seamlessly, automatically or at the touch of a button. Everything remains inconspicuous for the audience, while your pulse remains steady.

24 XLR outputs, ready for big stages

With 24 balanced XLR outputs, the PlayAUDIO2U is clearly aimed at complex live productions. Click, backings, stems or complete playback setups can be played out cleanly and separately to FOH and monitor paths. The outputs are phantom power-proof and mechanically amplified, designed for tough everyday use between stage, truck and club. Once wired, the setup remains stable.

Four inputs for vocals, instruments and spontaneous ideas

The front panel features four high-quality XLR / TRS combo inputs with extremely low-noise microphone preamps and switchable 48 V phantom power. Vocals, guitars, synths or playback devices can be fed directly into the system and processed live.

Redundancy that has really been thought through to the end

The heart of the PlayAUDIO2U is the failover system. If the main computer fails, the second computer takes over without audible interruption. Audio and MIDI continue to run and the timing remains stable. Alternatively, you can switch over manually at any time, also using the optionally available foot switch. This is a real safety belt for touring musicians, musical productions and demanding shows.

MIDI control center for modern and classic setups

MIDI is not treated in passing here. Four USB MIDI host ports, classic DIN connections and two Ethernet MIDI ports make the PlayAUDIO2U the control center for complex control setups. Controller, expander, computer and network MIDI can be clearly combined. The freely assignable buttons on the front and the control footswitch connections give you direct control over scenes, commands and sequences.

Direct access instead of laptop menus

A high-resolution OLED display, a non-slip endless controller and dedicated buttons ensure that important settings are accessible even without a laptop. Levels, scenes, inputs and outputs as well as MIDI activity are always in view. The Auracle software is available for fine-tuning and complex routings.

Studio quality for the stage

With up to 24 bit and 96 kHz, the PlayAUDIO2U delivers a clean, detailed conversion that sounds great even in large PA systems. The integrated headphone output with its own control is perfect for pre-listening, line checks or quick troubleshooting during operation.

Built for touring, not for desks

The robust 2U rack housing, an internal wide-range power supply and screwed connections clearly show what this audio interface is intended for. One device in the rack replaces entire chains of interfaces, switches and MIDI boxes. Fewer sources of error, fewer cables, more confidence in your own setup.
