With the Fender Caballo Tono Ligero Koa Artisan Tele, the Fender Custom Shop presents a very special interpretation of the legendary electric guitar, which comes up with a fine selection of wood and a versatile sound spectrum. Fender uses a Thinline body made of Blackwood with resonance chambers and Koa top, while the screwed neck is made of bird's-eye maple. On the guitar amp, the combination of a TV Jones Classic humbucker on the neck and a hand-wound'51 Nocaster Single Coil on the bridge delivers multi-faceted sounds between county, blues and rock. Last but not least, the Fender Artisan Caballo Tono Ligero Koa Telecaster features the Fender RSD Tele Bridge and Sperzel Deluxe tuners.
For the construction of the Fender Caballo Tono Ligero Koa Artisan Tele, the Fender Custom Shop uses the traditional thinline construction method and a first-class selection of wood, which together create the basis for a lively sound. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a Blackwood body, whose generous resonance chambers are closed by Koa top in exquisite AAAA quality. The screwed neck is made of bird's-eye maple in AA quality with a rosewood fingerboard, whereby the "63 Strat Style C" profile offers optimal conditions for comfortable playability.
The Fender Caballo Tono Ligero Koa Artisan Tele guitar amp has a multi-faceted sound that offers the right sounds for almost every genre between blues, rock, country and rockabilly. The neck-mounted TV Jones Classic humbucker delivers a brilliant sound image that responds to the playing style with lively dynamics and is fully convincing both in the overdrive and clean channel. The typical Tele-Twang is also provided by the Fender Custom Shop '51 Nocaster Single Coil Pickup, which is placed in the bar position and wound by hand. A 3-way blade switch as well as master volume and master tone are also available to control the pickups.
Last but not least, the Fender Custom Shop Caballo Tono Ligero Koa Artisan Telecaster has high-quality hardware equipment that sets standards with unlimited reliability. The RSD Telecaster bridge developed by the Fender Research Special Division is used as a bridge, which not only guarantees a clean intonation of all strings, but also contributes to playing comfort due to its flat construction, while strings guided through the body support the striking twang. Sperzel Deluxe tuners on the headstock also ensure precise and stable tuning.
