The Taylor 814ce is an electro acoustic guitar from Taylor's flagship 800 series with a Grand Auditorium body shape, giving off a balanced and beautiful acoustic tone, making it ideal for a variety of different musical styles.
The Taylor 814ce features a beautiful solid sitka spruce top on solid Indian rosewood back and sides. The tropical mahogany neck is topped by an ebony fingerboard decorated with pearly maple binding and pearl fret inlays - characteristics that are exclusive to the 800 series.
Like many of Taylor's high-end electro-acoustic models, the 812ce features the ES2 Pickup System, magnificently reproducing the sound of the 812ce for use on stage. The undersaddle pickup and Dynamic Body Sensor are fed through the ES preamp, with controls for EQ, Dynamic Response and Master Volume. The guitar is finished in a Natural Gloss and comes with a Taylor Deluxe brown hardshell case.

I really enjoy the playabillity of the instrument and the great expression 2 system .the sound is really great specially the basses and middles.Really beutiful guitar !
Its just amazing, the sound the playability and overall performance. At first you may have slight issues with expression system 2 because its sound very diferent from the treblish fishman thing we are used to hear, but it makes the guitar sound as if you re hearing the guitar by ear , truly amazing.
I was in search for the perfect guitar for me for 20 years . No more !!
