The Terré Rainmaker S-75 produces rain sounds ranging from a light shower to a downpour. Made from lignified cactus in the tradition of the Diaguita people from the Chilean Atacama Desert. The spines of the lignified cactus are removed and inserted in a spiral pattern pointing inwards, after which fine pebbles are poured in. When these fall down along the spines, the rain-like sound is produced. A useful companion for creating relaxing soundscapes, for sound therapy and meditation, but also as an accompanying instrument in a percussion ensemble.
