With the Vox AC30HW60 Handwired 60th Anniversary, the traditional British company is making a special gift to all guitarists in the form of a hand-wired all-tube combos to mark its 60th anniversary. With a total of three channels, the guitar amplifier built in England delivers the entire spectrum of the AC30 sound, which contributed significantly to the success of the British invasion of the wild 1960s. With 30 watts, which are output via two Celestion Alnico Silver speakers, Combo also provides sufficient volume reserves for use on stage or in the recording studio.
Just like its ancestors from the 1960s, the Vox AC30HW60 Handwired is manufactured in England, whereby the entire circuit is assembled by hand on a turret board. With a total of three channels, the combo covers the multi-faceted spectrum of the AC30 sound. While the typical Vox chime is available in the "Normal" channel, the "Brilliant" channel delivers a juicy crunch thanks to the integrated "Top Boost" circuit, which has shaped British rock from the Beatles to the Queen. Last but not least, the integrated vibrato effect is available in the "Vib Trem" channel. The sound can be tuned via the general "Tone" section with 2-band tone control and the typical cut control.
The output stage of the Vox AC30HW60 Handwired 60th Anniversary is equipped with a total of four EL84 tubes from which the combo draws 30 watts of power. These guarantee sufficient volume reserves for use on the large stage. The power is delivered via two Celestion Alnico Silver loudspeakers with 12" diaphragm diameter, which were reissued especially for the Vox Handwired Anniversary. With their sweet reproduction character, which is characterized by multifaceted mids and a silky-brilliant treble spectrum, they complement each other perfectly with the typical Vox sound.
