Hardly any other electric guitar can look back on such an eventful history as the famous '59 Les Paul with the serial number 9 2208, which initially found itself in the hands of Peter Green and was affectionately referred to by him as the 'Magic Guitar'. In the early seventies, he sold it to none other than blues legend Gary Moore, until it finally found its way to Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett in 2014, who still plays it on the world's biggest stages today. Classic '59 Paula design

Following the design of the original 1959 Les Paul, the basic construction of the Epiphone Kirk Hammett Greeny 1959 Les Paul Standard consists of a solid mahogany body, a glued-on maple top with fine AAA-quality curly maple veneer and a one-piece mahogany neck. Thanks to the Custom Greeny profile, the left hand gets an authentic feel from headstock to neck heel, while the 22-fret Laurel fingerboard with 12" radius and the Gibson style headstock with open-book design also follow the traditional guidelines.
