Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi 2 - The official successor to a fuzz legend is here!
The Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi 2 Dual Op-Amp brings a long-lost chapter of Big Muff history to light. The pedal is based on a never-published circuit design by EHX co-founder Bob Myer from the late 1970s, which was only rediscovered decades later in his archive. After reconstructing the hand-drawn original schematics, an independent Big Muff was created, which clearly stands out from known versions in terms of sound. The dual-op amp architecture delivers a powerful Fuzz with controlled saturation and precise response, while the classic VOL, TONE and SUSTAIN control structure ensures intuitive operation. The pedal is complemented by true bypass, a switchable latching/momentary footswitch and the striking artwork by Daniel Danger - a Big Muff for anyone who wants to combine classic Muff fuzz aesthetics with an exciting circuit topology.
