Yamaha PSR-E483

The Yamaha PSR-E483 is a portable 61-key keyboard for home, rehearsal room and first live setups: It combines a velocity-sensitive keyboard with a very large sound and accompaniment world so you can quickly turn ideas into music - from practicing to layering sounds to jamming to backing tracks. With over 800 Voices and 345 Styles, the PSR-E483 covers virtually every genre, while Super Articulation Lite Voices realistically recreate typical playing nuances - such as string noises on guitars or breath on wind instruments. The DSP engine (DSP1/DSP2) provides a "pro" sound: It enhances voices with more character, texture and expression and can be switched on and off directly at the touch of a button for spontaneous performance changes.

Operation remains pleasantly direct: a clear display and the optimized interface (grid panel layout, quick access to voices/styles/functions) help you to adjust settings quickly and stay in the creative flow. Another practical highlight is Auto Chord Play: pre-configured, customizable chord sequences run automatically along with the Style - ideal for free solos or experimenting while playing without having to constantly grab "the changes" yourself. The whole thing is rounded off by live control knobs for spontaneous sound shaping, the integrated sound system (6 W + 6 W) as well as microphone input with vocal effects and L/R outputs for connection to a PA.
