Georg Neumann GmbH, internationally known as Neumann.Berlin, was founded in 1928 and is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of professional audio equipment. The company is particularly renowned for studio microphones that have become established standards in recording studios around the world thanks to their sonic precision, high manufacturing quality and reliable technology.

Models such as the U 47, M 49, U 67 and U 87 have played a decisive role in the development of modern recording technology. They are used for vocals, speech, instruments, orchestral recordings and many other professional applications.

Microphones for studio, broadcast and stage

Neumann’s microphone portfolio ranges from classic large-diaphragm condenser microphones to specialised solutions for broadcast, podcasting and live applications. It includes transformerless studio microphones, true-condenser stage microphones and compact systems for capturing acoustic instruments.

With product families such as TLM, KMS, BCM and MCM, Neumann offers suitable microphones for vocal recording, speech production, stage performance and high-quality instrument miking.

Studio monitors and headphones for precise monitoring

Since 2010, Neumann has complemented its microphone expertise with professional studio monitors. The loudspeakers in the KH Series are designed for highly neutral and precise reproduction and are suitable for recording, mixing, mastering, broadcast and post-production.

With the NDH studio headphones, Neumann also offers closed-back and open-back monitoring solutions for recording, editing and critical listening. This makes precise monitoring possible even in mobile or acoustically less controlled working environments.

Audio interfaces and networked studio technology

With the MT 48, Neumann expanded its range in 2023 with a professional audio interface. It combines high-quality conversion, microphone preamplification, touchscreen operation and networking capabilities in a compact system.

Neumann now covers large parts of the audio signal path, from recording and conversion to monitoring and detailed evaluation through loudspeakers and headphones.
