Adam Audio S3H active studio monitor

The Adam S3H Midfield Studio Monitor (Single) is an active monitor featuring two 7" woofers, a power rating of 1350W RMS, a 35Hz-50kHz frequency response and an XLR input connector. The S3H contains dual bass drivers that are each powered by separate 500W Class-D amplifiers, thereby producing flawless reproduction of frequencies as low as 32 Hz. Adam's 4" hybrid dome/cone mid-range driver is powered by a 300W Class-D amplifier and handles audio above 250 Hz and below 3 kHz.

Frequencies above 3 kHz are routed to the combination of an S-ART tweeter, the new precision HPS waveguide, and a 50W Class A/B amplifier. The custom-designed DSP optimises loudspeaker crossovers to create linear responses for the whole range, and provides user equalisation and in-room tuning/voicing functions. The sound is punchy yet musical, and delivers crystal-clear reproduction of the midrange.
