Behringer ADA8200 ULTRAGAIN DIGITAL

I'm using the ADA8200 to expand my Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 beyond the 8 analog input channels it has, with the ADA8200 I have now 16 inputs to support simultaneous monitoring of multiple synths. Works well. I haven't used yet the outputs or mic preamps, so cannot comment on those, but otherwise I am very happy so far with the ADA8200.

i am nicely surprised by the sound quality of this converter box. i use it to have more inputs on my 01V96. The liveshow i do has large diagram mics and huge dynamics and the 8200 deals perfectly with that. Would recommend it to others. (would ? i just dit no?:-)

Cheapest way to get 8 in / out ADAT expansion. Works well, uses less power than the last version (ADA8000), better converters. No stepped gain pots in the front side like in ADA8000 which is good. Bad things: still no 96 kHz operation, the outputs are only XLR whereas inputs are XLR/jack combo. Also, the inputs and outputs are not connected in any way, if you want a signal through you need to route it via an external device. I already have two of these and run them with 7,5 meter toslink cables, no problems whatsoever!

Great ADAT interface. so good this is my second one which now teams up with the first ada8200 i bought at christmas ( as a gift to me) to increase the inputs of my focusrite 18i20. all link using adat via the RME digiface USB to give me 24 inputs and 24 outs. fully configurable using the total mix software from RME. good bit of kit for the price. you would struggle to find anything similar in this price range. considered the octipre but thats too pricey for a home studio use. the sound quality is surprisingly good.
simple to use, simple to hook up. would have liked the combined XLR TRS ports for inputs but hey not complaining.

I use it as a extension for my Focusrite 18/20 sound card. It gives me 8 additional analogue inputs connected via ADAT.
in the beginning I had a little problem to synchronize my Focusrite with ADA8200 . it took me like 1 hour to set it up but now these two modules work together perfectly.
Sound quality is really good, for now tracks recorded via ADA8200 are as good as via Focusrite.
Truly recommend to buy.
