The JAM Pedals Rattler reinterprets one of the most legendary distortion sounds of the early eighties, combining the classic hard-clipping character with modern enhancements. At the heart of the pedal is a custom-designed operational amplifier that authentically replicates the coveted tonal character of the historic LM308 op-amp whilst ensuring long-term reliability. In addition to the standard footswitch for On/Bypass, a second footswitch activates a specially tuned mid-boost, which gives the basic sound extra punch without simply increasing the volume. The effects pedal is complemented by a switch between symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping, allowing for different saturation and dynamic characteristics. Anyone looking for a flexible, vintage RAT-inspired distortion pedal will definitely find the Rattler to be one of the best options on the market!
