The Sandberg California TM4 MN Marley Blue High-Gloss is an electric bass made of proven woods, which with pickups from Delano and active 2-band tone control delivers a versatile sound spectrum with an audible vintage note.
Construction
The construction of the Sandberg California TM4 MN Marley Blue High-Gloss follows classical specifications to produce the body from Alder, while the neck consists of Maple and is provided with a Maple fingerboard. In combination with the six-fold screw connection, this delivers a powerful old school basic sound with crisp attack and uniformly decaying sustain. In addition, the "C" profile of the slim neck provides a high level of playing comfort that allows fatigue-free performance even after hours of electric bass playing.
Delano Pick-Ups
The electric tone conversion of the Delano pick-ups gives the 4-string guitar a broad sound spectrum with unmistakable vintage nuances. The Delano M-Style humbucker on the bridge has an assertive, powerful and well defined sound, while the Delano T-Style Single Coil delivers a warm bass tone with a pleasant old school feel. The sound spectrum is extended by the split switch, which can be used to elicit authentic single coil sounds from the humbucker. The active 2-band tone control also enables precise adjustment of the sound character.
Hardware from Sandberg
The equipment of the Sandberg California TM4 MN Marley Blue High-Gloss is completed by indestructible hardware from our own company. The bridge is a Sandberg Bridge 4, which thanks to its solid construction supports the even sound of the bass guitar. The bridge also ensures perfect adjustment of intonation and string position thanks to its three-dimensional adjustability. At the top plate the strings run over the zero fret to the Sandberg Machine Heads, which guarantee a precise and long-lasting tuning of the electric bass.
