The stage piano that adapts to your needs.
With the Legend '70s MkII Compact, Viscount presents the second generation of its popular stage piano featuring interchangeable sound modules. In the MkII, this modular instrument stands out with a semi-weighted 73-key TP-110 keyboard. Furthermore, thanks to the new dual-core CPU, all operations are now twice as fast, and the increased memory capacity offers more programme storage. Visually, this successor impresses with its high-quality wooden construction and non-slip aluminium controls.
The Legend '70s MkII Compact comes factory-fitted with the electric piano module , which uses physical modelling to generate eight absolutely authentic-sounding electric piano sounds (5x Rhodes, 2x Wurlitzer, 1x CP-80). The module itself enhances the sound palette with a 2-band EQ, a tremolo effect and an amplifier effect. Viscount offers six further modules that can be installed in the free module slots. The options available are Clavinet, Synth-8, Acoustic Piano 2GB, FM Synth, Sound Collection and External. Each module has its own tonal focus; the External module transforms the Legend '70s MkII into a well-equipped MIDI/USB master keyboard.
On the left-hand side of the control panel is the permanently fitted – and therefore non-replaceable – programmer and effects section. In the programmer, you can access saved sounds and presets from all installed modules, define split points for the keyboard and configure system settings. The effects section comprises a 3-band equaliser, a reverb effect with six algorithms, and the multi-effect unit with eight algorithms, which generates various modulation effects such as chorus, phaser and wah, as well as delay. The multi-effect is duplicated and can be linked to the second block in series or in parallel.
In addition to the two control wheels for pitch bend and modulation, up to six pedals can be connected to provide full control over presets and tonal nuances whilst playing.
