Birch Cajon from De Gregorio

With the Tokayo Cajon Race De Gregorio has created a Cajon that acts as a comprehensive response to the demands of the Spanish Flameco scene. In order to keep up with the rest of the band even without amplification, an enlarged body is used. In addition, the individual wood layers are glued with special phenolic resin glue. The result is a particularly resonant sound with a lot of assertiveness. So that the rest of the Cajon can keep up, 2 extra thick snare strings and a 3.5mm thick striking surface are used. Both are exchangeable with simple tools, which results in a long life span. The striking surface also features a stylish striped design reminiscent of rally cars, adding a visual touch.

This cajon is handmade in Spain from the finest FSC-certified ("Forest Stewardship Council") birch wood. With a double layer of silk matt clear lacquer, De Gregorio Cajons have a robust and elegant surface finish.
