IO Instruments HIMALIA

The Himalia from IO Instruments combines a quadruple noise generator, a complex sound source and a drone oscillator in one module. The noise generator is infinitely variable from red to white to blue and there is also a DigiNoise with adjustable sampling rate and a stepped sample & hold wave. In the middle of the module there is a self-sufficient sound source consisting of 16 transient and 16 drone samples, which can be shaped extensively with Ratching, Tune & BitRate reduction. The lower part of the module is occupied by a six-part rectangular oscillator, which can be adjusted by means of tuning and oscillator spread, thus generating a massive sound. A total of six CV and two trigger inputs provide plenty of variety!
