The J & D PB II Pack Black makes it particularly easy to get started in the world of electric bass playing. This comprehensive starter set includes a comfortable-to-play J & D PB II electric bass, whose classic split-coil pickups authentically reproduce the typical sounds of classic PB-style basses. Amplification is provided by a compact Fame G9B Practice Amp, which is ideal for practising your first bass grooves, riffs and songs. The bundle is rounded off with a comprehensive range of accessories: An instrument cable connects the electric bass to the amplifier, the included strap allows for comfortable playing whilst standing, whilst a clip-on tuner ensures the instrument is always in tune. Three picks are also included, so there’s nothing to stop you getting started straight away.
The J&D PB Black offers everything beginners need to get off to a successful start on the electric bass. Its classic split-coil pickup in the centre position produces a powerful, balanced bass sound that is ideal for genres ranging from blues and rock to pop. With its straightforward electronics, featuring separate controls for volume and tone, it offers simple operation and allows for quick sound adjustment. The poplar body is combined with a bolt-on maple neck featuring a comfortable C-profile, ensuring a high level of playing comfort. The blackwood fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets allows you to play both powerful grooves and melodic runs with ease. Thanks to the tried-and-tested 34-inch long-scale neck, the bass impresses with precise response and clearly defined low-end tones. This makes the J&D PB Black not only the perfect choice for beginners, but also a reliable second instrument for the rehearsal room or the stage.
The Fame G9B Bass Amp is a compact bass amplifier that is ideal for practising at home or for use on the go. With an output power of 10 watts and a built-in 5-inch speaker , this combo delivers a balanced bass sound in a compact package. The 3-band EQ allows you to fine-tune the bass, midrange and treble, making it easy to adapt the sound to different instruments and playing styles. For a more punchy sound, there is also the Phat Switch , which adds more body and saturation to the signal. A rear headphone socket with a separate volume control also allows for silent practice, with the internal speaker being automatically disabled when headphones are connected.
As well as an electric bass and amplifier, the J & D PB II Pack includes a well-thought-out accessory pack for everyday use by musicians. For safe transport to lessons, band rehearsals or jam sessions, a matching J&D gig bag with a large accessories compartment and brand logo is included. The supplied clip-on tuner ensures precise tuning at all times and allows for quick retuning in between sessions. Also included are an instrument cable for direct connection to the amplifier and a guitar strap, which allows for comfortable playing whilst standing. Three picks in different thicknesses round off the set, offering the right choice for various playing techniques right from the start.
