Standing for ‘Stevensville 2’, S2 Series instruments are made at the PRS Maryland shop blending new design elements and manufacturing techniques with practiced quality control and workmanship, creating re-imagined, new guitars that are more affordable.

The S2 Singlecut features a classic body shape and the tried-and-true combination of Mahogany, Maple and Rosewood. This vintage-style humbucking guitar has a unique voice with pickups that are voiced to retain clarity and precision whether playing lead or rhythm. Crafted in the USA, the S2 has a redesigned neck - three-piece instead of one - and a straightforward flat top with an asymmetrical bevelled edge. 

Other premium features of the S2 Singlecut include a 635mm (25-inch) scale, Pattern Regular neck profile and Ivoroid bird inlays as standard, S2 locking tuners, anodised brass studs, a machined aluminium bridge and two S2 no.7 humbuckers with push/pull tone controls and a three-way toggle switch on the upper bout.
