The CME Z-Key 61 USB MIDI Controller is designed for the discerning user who rates quality over price.

The CME Z-Key 61 incorporates a completely new keybed design, resulting in better, more consistent action. Z-Key is the first keyboard range in the world with piano-style Zenith keys throughout the complete range.

Zenith keys are the most comfortable piano-style keys following several years research by CME. Each key is individual, not manufactured as part of a block, so that they can be mounted individually.

The casing is manufactured in high quality aluminium for extra strength and the end panels in Piano-lacquered PE.

The main features of the Z-Key 61 include:

  • Zenith keys - weighted action with velocity sensitivity and after-touch
  • Pitch bend and modulation wheels
  • 1 Data Dial
  • 1 Standby Button
  • 1 MIDI OUT
  • Octave+ and Octave- buttons
  • Sustain pedal jack socket
  • Choice of velocity curve and aftertouch curve
  • USB bus-powered, Class-compliant with Windows XP/Vista/7 and Mac OS X.
  • Unlike keyboards with integrated keys, each key on Z-Keys is individual so can be adjusted individually for touch and response
