Spitfire Audio Epic Strings is a versatile virtual string instrument designed specifically for cinematic compositions. The symphonic string section, made up of London's finest string players, was recorded at the renowned AIR Studios, giving the sound a natural depth and spaciousness. With 11 different articulations, including Long, Short, Ostinato and Pizzicato, Epic Strings offers a wide range of expressive possibilities for dynamic and emotional string arrangements.

The plugin features three microphone signals - Close, Room and Stretch - which allow you to shape the sound from close and detailed to wide and atmospheric, depending on your needs. Epic Strings is supplied as a standalone plugin, which means that no additional software such as Kontakt is required. It is fully compatible with popular formats such as VST, AU and AAX and the ease of use makes it ideal for quick and effective compositions. With a memory footprint of just 2.5 GB, the instrument still offers impressive sound quality.
