The
midiBeam v2

is a wireless transmission system for MIDI data with transmit and receive unit. At a distance of up to 250 meters (at open air events) the system reliably transmits all incoming and outgoing MIDI data. The RX02 receiver unit is USB-powered and also has MIDI inputs and outputs as a second data path that can be merged in parallel to wireless transmission. The TX02 transmitter unit is powered by three AAA batteries.
The software has also been improved: among other things, there is now a merge function that allows the connection of a second MIDI source to the receiver unit and then processes both together. It is also possible to reduce the amount of data transmitted, e.g. to prevent older synthesizers from spinning. With the web-based configurator you get access to all relevant settings of the midiBeam v2.
