This combination promises a fat primary tone with crisp attack and even sustain, providing the perfect foundation for perfectly articulated riffs. Thanks to the comfortably shaped "C" profile , these riffs come off particularly easily.
The electrical sound conversion of the Sandberg California Nighthawk VM5 is provided by pickups of the Sandberg Black Label Series , a split coil in the middle position and a humbucker on the bridge . These deliver versatile rock and metal sounds, ranging from massive low-end thrust with light compression to gnarly, aggressive mid-growl with high assertiveness. Naturally the low B-string is perfectly integrated into the sound with precise articulation. An active 2-band EQ is included to adjust the sound.
High-quality hardware harmoniously rounds off the features of the Sandberg California Nighthawk VM5 PF. The large aluminium pickguard with its brushed hairline surface fits perfectly into the overall picture and serves as a carrier for the split coil and all electronics.
