ACL Variable Sync VCO is an oscillator module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. It is based on an analog oscillator with ramp-core design that outputs five waveforms in parallel. The mood of the module can be roughly changed in three areas. For exact fine adjustments there is a potentiometer with ten revolutions and a safety switch. In addition to the 1V/octave jack, there are two exponential and one linear FM input with attenuator. The width of the pulse wave can also be modulated manually or by CV. A special feature of the module is the sync function.
ACL Variable Sync VCO generates five waveforms, each of which can be derived from its own outputs. The following vibrations are available: Ascending sawtooth, descending sawtooth, triangle, sine, pulse waves with variable width.
The threshold value of the synchronization can be adjusted via the threshold control of the module and thus slowly fade continuously from no sync to soft sync to hard sync. This process can also be controlled via control voltage. When the threshold potentiometer is fully clockwise, the oscillator core engages, which can be released again via the control voltage.
