Active 350 watt 10" 2-way loudspeaker

With the TX3 Series, Alto Professional has created a new Generation range of active loudspeakers designed for outstanding live applications. Utilizing technologies from the renowned TS3 Series, the new TX3 Series now delivers an extended power range. It has a brilliant sound that is second to none. The new TX3 series consists of four models - the 350 Watt TX308 and TX310 as well as the 700 Watt TX312 and TX315. All new models are characterized by their bi-amp design, with a long excursion woofer and a 1" compression driver in a precision horn. This horn design of the TX3 Series improves high frequency performance and produces a very precise 90ºH X 60ºV dispersion pattern - ideal for optimum coverage.

Features

The Alto TX310 is a 350 watt active loudspeaker designed for a wide variety of live situations. The TX310 features a bi-amp 2-way design, with a 10" long excursion woofer and a 1" titanium compression driver in a precision horn. The horn design improves the high frequency performance and produces a very precise 90°x 60° dispersion that achieves optimum coverage. The Class D power amplifier achieves a maximum sound pressure level of 117 dB. The frequency range covers 75 Hz to 20 kHz.

The TX310 from Alto is housed in a robust, lightweight and portable enclosure. The trapezoidal shape is suitable for both horizontal and vertical placement and the large steel grille protects the entire driver. In combination with a balanced XLR input (line/mic) and an XLR output (link), the TX310 plays an indispensable role in your Live performance.

Information on cabling

Active speakers that already have an integrated amplifier do not require any external cabling between the amplifier and speaker. In this configuration, the connection is already established and pre-installed internally. Users only need to connect a cable between the active speaker and the sound source, such as a mixer. A cable with XLR connectors on both ends or a 6.3 mm instrument cable (not a speaker cable) is often used for this purpose.
This distinction is essential for the correct installation and performance of a speaker system, and choosing the right type of cable will ensure optimum sound quality.
