The Audix A133 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern that meets professional standards. Particularly noteworthy are its high sensitivity and very low noise level: Together with the wide dynamic range, not only loud sources in the live area, but also very quiet signals can be picked up in a nuanced way. In order to fully exploit these qualities, the Audix A133 should be operated with a good preamplifier.
