Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphones with CRK12 Capsules

The OC18 microphone of the Austrian Audio OC18 Studio Set represents a simplified version of the innovative OC818 large-diaphragm condenser microphone and focuses on its main feature - the CRK12 capsule. After long research, many test phases and measurements, the characteristics of various originals of the CK12 vintage capsule were evaluated in order to develop more than just a "copy" from the data and experience gained.

How does the OC18 sound?

The hand-crafted OC18 shines with its distinctive, transparent sound that excels in the studio as well as in loud live environments. On board is a -10 / -20 dB pad as well as a low-cut (0, 40, 80, 160) to be able to react more flexibly to loud and unwanted, low-frequency signals.
