The Behringer 914 Fixed Filter Bank is an analog filter with twelve static bandpass filters, which are assigned to fixed frequencies (125 Hz, 175 Hz, 250 Hz, 350 Hz, 500 Hz, 700 Hz, 1000 Hz, 1400 Hz, 2000 Hz, 2800 Hz, 4000 Hz, 5600 Hz) and raise or lower the level of these filters. To cover the frequency range above and below the bandpass filters, there are two lowpass and one highpass filter with a slope of 24 dB/octave. A Fixed Filter Bank is more suitable than almost any other module for processing the frequency range and highlighting partial nuances. In contrast to an equalizer, the bands in an FFB work without resonance and are not variable in quality.
