Ample power at low weight

With the Eurolive B115D, Behringer engineers have created a potent state-of-the-art active system in which the specially developed components are perfectly matched to each other and thus deliver optimum results overall. The universally applicable active loudspeaker offers an excellent price/performance ratio with an astonishingly low weight. From just 17.5 kg, the B115D produces a peak output of 1000 watts.

Class-D - An effective power amplifier concept

This is made possible by the use of Class-D digital power amplifiers, which are more than twice as efficient as conventional AB power amplifiers. Since not half of the power is wasted in waste heat, significantly smaller transformers and heat sinks can be used, which can save a lot of weight.

Bi-Amping - for optimal frequency separation and phase position

Behringer uses 2 power amplifiers to supply the 15" 700 Watt woofer and the 1.35" 300 Watt pressure chamber driver. The active crossover design has, compared to the often used passive crossovers, a much better phase position and a more controlled frequency transition. This ensures precise imaging over the entire frequency spectrum.

Compact power - cabinet and loudspeakers are optimally tuned

Behringer developed the long-throw 15" bass driver especially for use in low-volume cabinets. In a compact and stable bass reflex cabinet, the woofer develops an impressive bass foundation. From 2 kHz the precision pressure chamber driver with aluminium diaphragm takes over and extends the frequency response up to 20kHz. The concise exponential horn ensures a particularly wide beam angle with a homogeneous sound field and crystal-clear highs.

Simple operation - Wireless Ready

The clear control panel is practically self-explanatory. Two adjustable XLR/TRS inputs with the ultra low-noise microphone preamplifiers known from other Behringer products provide linear amplification over a very wide level range. The tone control works at 80 Hz and 12kHz with +/- 15 dB each. Additional systems can be connected via the XLR output. With a Behringer microphone of the ULTRALINK ULM series, which comes with the memory stick of a large wireless receiver, you have wireless freedom - without any setup. Simply plug the receiver into the USB port of the B115D, level it and off you go.
