With the CT-S500, Casio presents a cutting-edge keyboard with a velocity-sensitive 61-key keyboard, which is aimed equally at beginners, advanced players and even professionals. With 64-voice polyphony, the keyboard offers enough reserves to play fast and unrestrained. The 800 sounds of the CT-S500 are a best-of of Casio's current sound generation and consist of Advanced Tones, AiX and Casio Classic Tones. Rounding out the sound offerings are 243 rhythms. The CT-S500 can also sample! Supported via smartphone app and of course through the audio input, long samples can be processed to play melodies, while short samples can be integrated into the drum sets. The final touch is given to the many sounds and also the samples by the 100 effects, which of course also include chorus, reverb and delay as well as several specialties. A programmable arpeggiator serves as a playing aid and a 6-track sequencer keeps all song ideas together in ten songs. Thanks to Layer and Split modes, you can play two different sounds on the keyboard at the same time. The sound-strong stereo speakers with a power of twice 2.5 watts also have a bass-reflex system and are equipped with a simulated surround sound function.
