There are many options to optimize the Click sound of the Bass Drum. The Click Kick Acoustic-Kick- System however is very different from other systems in both how it works and how it is used, as the Click sound is not produced by metal plates. The Click-kick is a high-end system developed by and directed towards advanced and professional drummers, producing a high-quality sound with more attack, power and aggression.
Installation and Application
The Click Kick system consists of three support brackets that adhere directly to the striking head of the bass drum. The space between these three brackets forms two slots which support the three different 6” membrane foils (included). The support brackets prevent these foils from resting directly against the surface of the head. The beater of the bass drum pedal first strikes the foil and then onto the head itself, giving your bass drum sound and extra dose of Click.

A powerful and assertive Click sound is certainly a characteristic of Metal, however the Click Kick System also makes a great impression in the practice room as a learning tool and for technical exercises. The strong Click added to the bass drum makes the overall sound more defined and precise, as well as clearer to hear.
The membranes are also very easy to remove so you can enjoy the aggressive attack provided by this system or very quickly go back to a more traditional bass drum sound. And don't worry about it damaging your bass drum head, in fact by putting a barrier between the beaters of the pedal and the head itself, the Click-Kick system also serves as a kick pad - extending the life of your head.
