The DiMarzio DP281 Rainmaker Neck was developed together with John Petrucci of Dream Theater for the neck position of his signature instruments. Equipped with ceramic magnets, the pickup reacts sensitively to Attack and playing style, so that in combination with the open midrange and silky highs a first-class sound for singing solos, pressing riffs and transparent cleans.
