Active bass pickup with humbucker and single coil sounds
In the classic soapbar housing of the EMG40TWX, a humbucker and a single coil are slumbering.
The active EMG40TWX Bass Pickup combines a humbucker and a single coil pickup in its classic housing, which can be called up via the included push/pull potentiometer. The humbucker mode convinces with its aggressive sound, whose brute mid-range punch has a high assertiveness, while in single coil operation a particularly warm sound with increased transparency is available. Thanks to the EMG X preamp circuitry, the EMG40TWX also has a high dynamic range that is in no way inferior to conventional pickups. For easy installation, the bass pickup is also equipped with the EMG Solderless Installation System, which requires no soldering iron and contains all necessary cables and potentiometers.
