The Earthquaker Devices Rainbow Machine V2 is the ultimate pedal for experimental players or those looking for something fun and truly different. It’s essentially a polyphonic pitch shifter featuring digital oscillators that produce harmonic tones over what you play. The Primary and Secondary controls adjust the volume of the harmonies, whilst the tracking knob adjusts the Lag or difference in time between the Dry and Wet signals. However the real wizardry happens when you engage the Magic switch, which feeds the effect into itself creating wild oscillations and arpeggios. An expression pedal input is also provided for even further control.
