The new Optiweb coating of the Elixir electric guitar strings offers a natural playing feel and at the same time a crisp tone like an uncoated string. The wafer-thin coating of the strings dampens string vibration less and at the same time provides a firm hold that gives the guitarist control over bends, vibratos and sustain.
