Light as a feather Thinline body

As a classic Telecaster design in semi-hollow construction, the Limited Edition P90 Telecaster Thinline Relic Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst with its selected ash body has a particularly low and comfortable Gewicht, which is positively noticeable through its extremely comfortable handling. The neck is made of Quarter Sawn Maple with a strong 11/56 Off Center V profile, which provides enough wood for controlled chord playing. In addition, the compound radius rising from 7.25 to 9.5 inches knows how to elicit the best playing characteristics from all fingerboard positions.

Dual-Stack HS Tele Wiring

In order to tap the full potential of the multi-faceted sound of the Single Coil and P90, the Limited Edition P90 Telecaster Thinline uses a special Dual-Stack Wiring. Both the hand-wound and inverted '51 Loaded Nocaster Single Coil at the bridge and the Custom P90 neck pickup are assigned individual DC resistors of the Volume and Tone pots, which allows both pickups to play to their individual strengths both individually and in combination without any problems. Accordingly, an extremely wide-ranging sound is available at any time, from wiry Tele twang to full and warm neck sounds of the P90.

Classic Tele Parts

For the bridge of the P90 Tele Thinline, the Fender Custom Shop relies on a Reverse Nocaster bridge, which contributes to the distinctive sound of the Telecaster with its string routing through the body, large baseplate and three compensated barrel tailpieces. On the headstock, meanwhile, six vintage-style tuners ensure precise tuning results, while the traditional Disc String Tree optimizes the contact pressure of the high strings on the bone nut. Last but not least, a neckplate engraved with the Fender Custom Shop logo and the classic decal on the back of the headstock further indicate the birthplace of this special one-off.
