This iconic 4-string electric bass in a compact offset design features a particularly versatile PJ pickup configuration that skilfully covers almost every tonal requirement, whilst the slim neck emphasises the comfortable playability of the Mustang Bass PJ. Furthermore, the Fender Player II Mustang Bass PJ is available in a wide range of traditional and newly introduced colour finishes, guaranteed to attract admiring glances whether on stage, in the rehearsal room or in the living room.

Slim Offset Body & Modern-C Neck
The Fender Player II Mustang Bass PJ RW Rally Orange derives its outstanding ergonomic qualities, on the one hand, from its particularly comfortable Mustang body with a distinctive offset waist. This is classically crafted from alder and contributes to the instrument’s resonant fundamental character. Furthermore, the bolt-on maple neck, with its slim Modern ‘C’ profile and satin-finished back, offers a comfortable thumb rest for the fretting hand and smooth position changes from the headstock to the neck joint.
Flexible PJ setup
The PJ configuration, comprising a single-coil and a split-coil pickup, offers the best of the tonal worlds of the Jazz Bass and Precision Bass and is prized by many players for its enormous flexibility. On the Fender Player II Mustang Bass PJ, the PJ setup comprises a Player Series Alnico V Jazz Bass single-coil pickup at the bridge and a Player Series Alnico V Precision Bass split-coil pickup in the middle position, skilfully covering everything from crisp, well-defined single-coil sounds right through to the classic ‘Preci growl’.
