Two independent distortion engines in one pedal!
The Fender Pugilist V2 combines two completely independent distortion circuits in a single pedal, opening up a wide spectrum of high-gain sounds. Whilst Engine A is designed for assertive lead sounds with brilliant highs, Engine B delivers rich distortion with a powerful low-end. The Path switch allows both circuits to be stacked in series or mixed in parallel, enabling a wide range of tonal variations from classic distortion to complex, overtone-rich gain textures. The design is complemented by global bass boost and mid-cut switches, a choice of true or buffered bypass, and freely configurable footswitches for maximum flexibility on the pedalboard.
