Hagstrom H8-II with high playing comfort

Hagstrom uses a mahogany body in a chic retro double cut design and a screwed maple neck for the H8-II, which has an extremely slim "C" profile thanks to the typical "H-Expander" clamping bar. In combination with the 30.75" Short Scale Scale (781 mm) the E-Bass offers an extremely smooth playability over the entire fingerboard made of Resinator Wood.

Dyna-Rail pickups and versatile sound options

Two Hagstrom Dyna-Rail humbuckers are used as pickups on the Hagstrom H8-II Wild Cherry Transparent, which reproduce the floating sound of the octaved string pairs broadband and dynamically. In addition, the passive electronics offer extensive sound options for a particularly versatile sound spectrum. A separate slide switch can be used to switch the pickups on and off, while the push/pull switch in the volume control splits the pickups into single coils. In addition, a switchable Hi-Cut filter and the "Mute" filter are available to reduce the level and treble. Last but not least, the Hagstrom H8-II has a kill switch that mutes the entire bass.
