The Heritage Audio RAM System 5000 is a high-quality monitoring system for recording and post-production studios working with 5.1 Surround. The system consists of a 19" rack unit, which is controlled wirelessly via a monitor controller in desktop format. The system can be configured for 5.1 or stereo applications and can be easily integrated into any environment thanks to flexible connection options. The system offers all functions and features required for professional monitoring such as switching between the loudspeakers, buttons for DIM, MUTE and SOLO, subwoofer management, headphone amplifier, cue mix routing, radio-based talkback, digital inputs with high-quality D/A converters from Wolfon and Bluetooth for easy connection to mobile devices. The integrated talkback, modelled on classic mixing consoles, offers numerous routing options and facilitates communication with the artists.
The RAM System 5000 uses state-of-the-art analog circuits for maximum transparency and minimal background noise and distortion. The entire signal path, including the 64-stage relay attenuation system, is designed with gold-plated switching relays and thus achieves a precision and sound quality that is only known from large-format mixing consoles. With its RAF blue-grey finish and the striking red Marconi control, the RAM System 5000 gives every control room a classic touch.
