In the best Soundgear tradition, the Ibanez Standard SR305E-RBM Root Beer Metallic combines unparalleled playability with a modern, versatile tonal spectrum. While the streamlined Nyatoh body and slim maple and walnut neck contribute to the nimble handling of the five-string electric bass, the redesigned PowerSpan humbuckers combined with the active 3-band tone control deliver versatile tones for any style of music.
With its Nyatoh body in the typical flowing Soundgear design, the SR305E hugs the player for a robust playing position. The four-bolt neck is five-piece maple and walnut, with a flat "D" profile that fits comfortably in the hand and a jatoba fingerboard that lets fast basslines and complex grooves come off easily.
The pickups on the Standard SR305E-RBM Root Beer Metallic are Ibanez PowerSpan dual-coil pickups specially developed for this bass. In combination with the active Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band tone control they cover a variable sound spectrum. Whether transparent solo and jazz sounds, dirty rock growl or rich thrust from the deepest bass cellar, the four-string always has the right setting for every style ready and presents even the low B-string precisely.
A special feature of the Ibanez Standard SR305E-RBM Root Beer Metallic is furthermore the Power-Tap switch, which switches the coils of both humbuckers from the powerful series circuit to Tap or PowerTap mode. While the former delivers authentic single-coil sounds with typical clarity and tone definition, the latter adds a fundamental bass component to this sound.
On the body side, the strings of the Standard SR305E-RBM Root Beer Metallic electric bass from Ibanez are held in place by the tried-and-tested Accu-Cast B125 bridge, which, thanks to its solid construction, contributes significantly to the bass's long and even decaying sustain. At the same time, 16.5 mm string spacing provides room for clean strokes even with a hearty grip, while the ball ends that hook in from the top make string changes much easier. At the headstock, the strings are held by reliable die-cast tuners that guarantee precise tuning.

К гитаре прилагались кабель (самый простой, но ему можно найти применение - я его использую для подключения однокнопочного футсвитча), пара 6-гранных ключей, батарейка для активного эквалайзера. Гриф ровный, струны стоят низко, ничего не звенело (отстраивать гитару не приходилось), лады гладкие. Играть очень удобно. Инструмент относительно лёгкий. Очень нравится корпус - прожилки, ощущаешь дерево. Звук тоже нравится. Можно встретить отзывы, в которых говорится, что этот бас плохо ведёт себя в миксе, с этим не могу согласиться, используя эквалайзер баса, усилителя и отдельную педаль, можно добиться достойного результата. Единственное удивило, это не очень плавное вращение колков. Конечно, более дорогие модели бас-гитар будут получше, но за такие деньги хороший бас.
Я в полном восторге от инструмента. Качественно сделан, лады не выпирают, гриф ровный, приятно лежит в руках, звучит просто отлично, если вы не профессиональный бас-гитарист с многолетним опытом - вы не отметите никаких недостатков. Для начинающего и продвинутого уровня - это великолепный инструмент, без преувеличения - идеальное сочетание цены и качества. Гитара очень красивая, сохранена фактура дерева корпуса.

Моя первая бас гитара. Купил в дополнение к электрухе, чтобы сочинять что-то своё и делать кавера.
Вживую выглядит гораздо лучше чем на фото. Лады не царапаются, гриф ровный, ничего не болтается, царапин, сколов нигде нет.
По поводу звука сказать не могу, так как не играл до этого на басу, но первые дилетантские впечатления - звучит круто.
На почти точно такой же модели играет наш басист в группе, звучит ничего так.
Достаточно лёгкий.
Короче мне понравилось, не жалею о покупке совсем.
