Lightweight Short Scale Electric Guitar

For the construction of the Jackson Rhoads Minion, Jackson uses a light poplar body, which is screwed to the maple neck in the classic way. To make playing the electric guitar especially easy for beginners, the electric guitar has a shortened 22.5" scale length, which in combination with the flat "Speed Neck" profile guarantees a butter-soft playability over all 24 frets of the rosewood fingerboard. In order not to lose orientation, large Sharkfin inlays mark the layers in the usual places.

For electrical sound conversion, the Jackson JS1X Rhoads Minion is equipped with two Jackson High Output humbuckers, which give the amplifier a lot of steam for the first riffs and solos. The pickups convince with an enormous assertiveness and a modern sound image, which brings riffs with the necessary tightness to the ear and lets solos sing with long sustain. But also in the clean channel the Jackson pickups deliver a skilful performance where they present melodies with harmonic suppleness and represent chords with cleanly separated strings.

Functional Hardware

The equipment of the Jackson Rhoads Minion is rounded off by straight hardware with indestructible functionality. As a bridge, a Jackson Hardtail sits on the body, which supports the tight sound of the electric guitar thanks to the string guidance through the body and guarantees perfect intonation and string position with individually adjustable string riders. In addition, Jackson die-cast mechanisms with smooth running at the head plate ensure a precise and stable tuning.
