Keeley Gold Star Reverb

The Keeley Gold Star Reverb Guitar Effects Pedal is a psychedelic studio reverb pedal designed with the help of Phil Spector and Gold Star Studios. The Gold Star features 3 reverb modes: compressed reverb, distorted reverb and flanged/sun-drenched reverb.

The Gold Star has been created with the ‘Wall of Sound’ formula in mind, a technique used in the 1960s for music production. Parts were double and played together for a colourful and broader scope of sound.

The Gold Star adds compression to reverb which compresses when you play heavily, and then the reverb appears after the envelope has fallen in Compressed Reverb mode. The Distorted Reverb mode is bold, thick and throaty sounding. Flanged Reverb has two options: Flanger Reverb and Sun-Drenched Vinyl Reverb, a random pitch vibrato added to the huge wall of sound which can be warped using the drenched vinyl function. This mode gives off extensive reverb trails.
