Laserworld CS-2000RGB FX MKII

The Laserworld CS-2000RGB FX MKII is an analog modulated, full color RGB diode laser system with a total output power of up to 2000 mW and a guaranteed output power of 1600 mW.In addition to the graphics capable scanners, the system has three built-in grating effects: Line Grating, Burst Grating and Radial Grating. Together with the approx. 130 (planes, tunnels, grids, waves, etc.) effects stored on the laser, these effects offer a multitude of combination possibilities for the impressive illumination of medium to large locations. The grating effects make the projected patterns appear as if they are being output from many projectors simultaneously. The resulting expansion allows for effects that could not be achieved in any other way. The Laserworld CS-2000RGB FX MKII is ideal for semi-professional applications and is perfect for medium to large clubs and discotheques as well as mobile DJs, private use and in any other party location.

Features

The red laser source has an output power of 250 mW / 635 nm, the green one of 250 mW / 520 nm and the royal blue laser source has an output power of 1'100 mW / 450 nm. The diode laser sources provide powerful laser beams. The projector has good beam specifications with a beam diameter of approximately 3 mm and a beam divergence of 1.4 mrad. The galvo system has a scanning speed of up to 30 kpps@4°.

The microphone sensitivity can be adjusted via the integrated display, the projection size via two knobs on the back of the unit.

Control

Via DMX in automatic mode as well as in music mode about 130 (planes, tunnels, grids, waves, etc.) can be projected in different colors and at different speeds. If the automatic mode is active, the pre-programmed patterns run without further intervention and in the music mode the laser system projects in tune with the sound. In addition to the modes mentioned above, this laser projector also offers a master-slave mode. Show lasers of the same series (slave projectors), which are connected to a main projector (master projector) via DMX cable, project the same patterns as the master projector. The Laserworld CS-2000RGB FX MKII is computer controllable via a professional ILDA interface. So own or pre-programmed laser shows, logos, texts or own graphics and animations can be shown in combination with a laser control software (e.g. Showeditor or Showcontroller).

Housing, safety functions

There are safety features like a key switch, an interlock and an on-off switch. The RGB diode laser system comes with a compact and lightweight housing and has a robust 360° bracket mount. The bracket allows different mounting positions: Both a hanging and a standing installation is possible - ideal for mobile DJs and temporary laser shows, but also for permanent installations on a truss or on the ceiling.

Laser protection regulations

Due to the strong bundling of the laser beam, the entire light energy is concentrated on a small area. If the human eye is hit by this beam, this can cause damage. In particular, there is a risk of eye injury when looking directly into the beam. If the beam is deflected, which is almost always the case with compact show laser systems due to the scanning unit, the effect and thus the danger of the beam is much less. According to the possible danger, lasers or devices containing a laser are divided into classes in accordance with the accident prevention regulation on laser radiation [BGV B2]. 99% of the compact show lasers currently available on the market and also all lasers offered by us belong to protection class 3a and 3b. These devices are therefore subject to approval.

For safe operation at public events, a laser protection officer [radiation protection according to VBG 93 §6 (BGV-B2)] must be appointed. In the case of installations in public buildings (discotheques, multi-purpose halls, restaurants, etc.), the systems must be approved by the locally responsible TÜV (Technical Inspection Agency) or the Employer's Liability Insurance Association. The regulations valid in Germany for the operation of a show laser system must be observed. Please inform yourself about this at your local professional association and the responsible TÜV company.
