The M-Audio CTRL49 is a high-quality 49-key USB / MIDI Controller Keyboard with advanced control options for virtual instruments and DAWs. In addition to the high-resolution full-colour display, the CTRL49 is equipped with extensive control elements, for example the automatic assignment of VST plugins using the supplied Virtual Instrument Player (VIP) software.

CTRL49 provides direct access to all major plug-in parameters, DAW channels, solo/mute toggles and complete transport controls - all without taking your hands off the keyboard.

The mixer section of the keyboard, consisting of 9 knobs and 11 buttons, is compatible with the Mackie® HUI protocol and enables the direct control of the DAW mixer channels. Trigger samples, one-shots, melodies and loops over the 8 velocity and pressure sensitive pads, whilst 8 assignable rotary encoders allow precise alterations of the sound image.

The CTRL49 is a central command unit for playing notes and passages as well as for controlling your DAW, instruments and effects. In addition its seamless integration, the CTRL49 features MIDI In/Out for connecting drum machines, samplers, synthesizers or sound modules. Expression and sustain pedal inputs are also available as an option.

With Ableton Live Lite, you have a revolutionary DAW environment that delivers a fast and intuitive workflow. From live remixing to professional audio & MIDI recordings on up to 8 channels, Ableton Live Lite can do it all, and can be updated to the full version at a later date.
