Versatile crunch and drive sounds
The Maestro Ranger Overdrive finds its inspiration in the coveted tones of traditional tube amps. Based on an analog circuit with hi- and lo-gain modes, the effect pedal delivers versatile crunch and drive sounds that can be adjusted with the familiar 3 knob layout. As a visual highlight, status LEDs in the form of the classic "Maestro Bugle" logo adorn the desk-shaped aluminum housing.
Analog with two gain modes
Built using traditional analog techniques, the Overdrive circuitry of Maestro's Ranger pedal offers two gain modes that provide the foundation for characterful blues and rock sounds. Hi mode delivers a warm Overdrive with distinct amp character and the perfect dose of harmonic compression for singing lead lines and punchy riffing. Lo mode, on the other hand, mixes some of the clean input signal into the crunch sound, promising a particularly punchy sound that can be shaped with playing technique. The traditional 3 knob panel with controls for Gain, Tone and Volume allows for precise adjustment of the personal sound.
