Equipped with a solid Sitka spruce top and a mahogany body, this Parlor resonates with clear bass, warm and assertive midrange and fine silver highs. Accordingly, the Martin 00-17SE Whiskey Sunset is ideal for fingerpicking and light strumming.
The relatively short scale length of 632mm ensures soft playability with little effort. The nickel-plated Golden Age Relic tuners provide tuning stability and complete the Whiskey Sunset finish and the impressive vintage look, while the compact Parlor body is extremely easy to move and ergonomic.
Extremely natural and dynamic sound, thanks to the Fishman Matrix VT Enhance pickup
The innovative Fishman Matrix VT Enhance pickup is an under-saddle pickup in combination with the Acoustic Imaging System. The latter was developed by Martin in cooperation with Fishman individually for each model. Accordingly, by adding the image, the original sound of the guitar is amplified and all this in studio microphone quality and without susceptibility to feedback.
At the upper part of the sound hole there is a volume and tone control, while at the lower part of the sound hole the model image can be mixed as desired. This results in a true and natural sound image that would otherwise only have been possible with feedback-prone condenser microphones.
