With the Mayones Hydra Elite 6 Trans Graphite Satin, the forge for noble metal axes from Gdansk, Poland, sends an agile electric guitar in the trendy headless design into the race. As usual, Mayones relies on an excellent wood selection, which manifests itself in the mahogany body with poplar burl top and the five-piece wenge amaranth neck with ebony fingerboard. At the guitar amp, Mayone's TKO by Bare Knuckle humbuckers deliver modern rock and metal tones with excellent detail and dynamics even at high gain settings and lower tunings. Last but not least, the Hydra Elite 6 Headless guitar is equipped with six ABM single fine-tune bridges and an in-house S-CLAMP headpiece.

Based on a compact headless design without a headstock, the Mayones Hydra Elite impresses not only with a first-class wood selection, but also with extremely agile handling. In addition to the slim mahogany body, Mayones relies on an intensely figured top made of burl poplar, while the six-bolt neck is made of five-piece wenge and amaranth (Purpleheart) and carries an ebony fingerboard. The compact body design with wide Cutaways and the slim D-neck profile guarantee unhindered playability across all 24 stainless steel frets, with fluorescent side dots from Luminlay marking the layers.
TKO by Bare Knuckle pickups for modern tone colors
The electric guitar's sound conversion is handled by two Mayones TKO by Bare Knuckle humbuckers, tuned by British pickup smiths to the distinctive characteristics of Mayones guitars. The TKO bridge humbucker, equipped with powerful ceramic magnets, delivers a punchy and tight sound with excellent Tracking of every note played even at high gain and low tunings, while the TKO neck pickup is a modern Alnico V humbucker with a particularly clear and open sound. To expand the sound repertoire of the Mayones Hydra and authentic single-coil sounds, both pickups can be split via a pull of the volume knob. In addition, the electric guitar is equipped with a treble bleed circuit that prevents treble loss when reducing the volume with the volume knob.
High quality Hardware by ABM and Mayones
Last but not least, high-quality hardware equipment completes the Hydra Elite 6 Trans Graphite Satin Headless Guitar by Mayones. Berlin-based hardware smith ABM contributes six 3801 single-fine tuner bridges that not only allow for precise intonation and string action adjustment, but also guarantee accurate Tuning. Behind the GraphTech Black TUSQ nut, the brass Mayones S-CLAMP Element headpiece secures the strings at the neck end.
